Potato Project
In the heart of Afram Plains, within the fertile embrace of Ghana's Eastern region, our initiative took root on a humble 20-acre plot dedicated to cultivating Purple and Orange Flesh Sweet Potatoes. Afram Plains, renowned as an agricultural hub, boasts fertile soil and convenient access to an abundant, year-round water source for irrigation. Over time, the project has grown substantially, now encompassing 200 acres, with the potential for further expansion to 500 acres, provided the necessary infrastructure and logistics are in place.
But our story doesn't end here; it's just the beginning. What started as a modest venture has since flourished into an awe-inspiring enterprise, spanning a vast 200 acres, with the potential to expand even further, up to an astounding 500 acres. To achieve this, we're committed to investing in the infrastructure and logistics necessary to propel us to new heights of productivity and impact.
The results of our expansion have been nothing short of remarkable. We've touched the lives of over 100 smallholder farmers, offering them not just sustenance but a pathway to prosperity. In the process, we've welcomed more than 250 dedicated farmhands into our family, providing them with meaningful employment and a sense of purpose.
This isn't just agriculture; it's a revolution in progress. It's the story of transformation, where every acre represents an opportunity, every harvest a triumph, and every life we touch is a testament to our unwavering commitment to growth, progress, and the betterment of our community.
Join us as we continue to redefine what's possible in agriculture. Your support isn't just an investment; it's a belief in the boundless potential of the land, the people, and the future we're forging together. Together, we're sowing the seeds of change and reaping the harvest of a brighter, more prosperous tomorrow.
Aquaculture (Catfish) Project
Nestled within a lush 6-acre expanse in the heart of Okwenya, situated in the Eastern region of Ghana, our Aquaculture Project emerged onto the scene in 2022. We embarked on this journey with a singular commitment: to champion catfish production, and though tilapia held a minimal role at the outset, our vision has grown bolder with time.
Our humble beginnings saw us nurture a modest catfish capacity of 50,000 (equivalent to 25 tons). However, our ambition knew no bounds. Today, we proudly stand at a staggering capacity of 120,000 (a remarkable 60,000 tons), a testament to our unwavering dedication and tenacity.
Our current production levels are awe-inspiring, boasting a catfish capacity of 200,000 (an impressive 100 tons), a feat we achieve 2-3 times annually. What sets us apart is our steadfast commitment to replicating the natural aquatic environment within our open field pond system, resulting in healthier, more delectable fish.
But we don't stop here. Our Aquaculture Project harbors the potential for phenomenal growth, with plans in place to extend our capacity to a jaw-dropping 1 million (equivalent to 500 tons). With this expansion, we anticipate the annual production of a remarkable 1,500 metric tons. This is not merely a vision; it's a testament to our dedication, innovation, and the future we are crafting in aquaculture.
Join us on this remarkable journey, where growth knows no limits, and the pursuit of excellence propels us forward. Your support is not just an investment; it's a vote of confidence in our mission to redefine catfish production in Ghana. Together, we will set new standards and usher in a new era of aquaculture excellence.
